BOMMan Part Description

This form controls the attributes for the parts. The category is set which will generated the suggested prefix. A short description space is provided. This is used in all reports and lists. The long description and notes are fields where specific information regarding this part can be maintained. The rev value will be controlled through the fields presented on the Revs tab. The actual part number shown is BOMman's suggestion for a number. Changing this field will change the actual part number used through BOMMan. If you use the suggested BOMMan values you can store up to 10 million parts in BOMMan. These part numbers are also guaranteed to be unique.

The Duplicate button at the bottom of the form will duplicate the part. If the part is an assembly all the parts associated with that assembly will also be associated with the newly duplicated part.
