BOMMan Philosophy

For the large enterprise, BOMMan provides a simple controlled area to work projects in before committing parts lists to the enterprise MRP systems. Many times products are designed with many components which are never received or used by the enterprise outside of assembly components. Why have these parts take up space in the in the inventory lists? These unused parts only slow down report generation and waste paper when comprehensive lists are made. BOMMan can take the burden of these parts, make them available for use by the prototyping departments, provide the lists for subcontractor assembly and provide a controlled environment where parts, suppliers and manufacturers do not get lost.

For smaller organizations, BOMMan can provide a comprehensive Approved Supplier Lists control. Coordinated with smaller accounting packages BOMman can add the features of part control that comes with bigger (more expensive) MRP systems. Use Quickbooks to control your finished goods inventory while BOMMan manages how those finished goods are made and whose approved to supply the parts.
