ProMan Admin Settings

The "Settings" tab in System Administration will get you access to the various tables via the buttons on the left. The "Add Staff" and "Add Products" functions are fairly self explanatory. The WO types are currently "New", "Defect Correction" etc. These give the ability to FIND specific work in greater detail. The defaults may not be applicable to your organization nd it would be best to simply rename the existing ones rather then add new types.

"Route Group" allows you to determine the name for specific groups for work order signoff. The "Route List" are the list of people ( of any type ) that will be assigned to that list. During the signoff process the people on the list identified in the work order form will be emailed a notice when they need to sign off the work. This will be prioritized by the "Order" number you give the person when the list is created.

The data in the 2 fields are used in various FUNCTIONS . The "Task Stalled" data is used in the "Check for Doneness" function. It determines if a task has remained in the PENDING or ON HOLD states for longer than the identified period an email will be sent to the Product Manager announcing this fact.

Finally the "Email Log Address" is an address that all messages will be Blind Copied to. This can serve as a audit point if there is some belief that emails are not being sent.
